Michael Warrington began photographing as a part-time gig while at university and after a while decided that this was the career for him.

He started by assisting a well-known advertising photographer. From this he learned how to count the number of excess bags when travelling by aeroplane (13 was the record), hold a person-sized reflector atop a windy cliff and to fill in when an extra subject was needed in a shot. Credits in this latter role include Man Walking Through Airport Door, Kayaker on a Lake and on one glorious occasion, Man Punching Well Above His Weight in a Hot Tub with a Model.

Deciding that he'd peaked as an assistant, Michael established Warrington Photography in 2007, based in Brisbane covering small events.

By delivering high quality images with consistent reliability he retained clients and gathered new ones and the business grew and expanded to cover commercial photography; corporate portraits, head shots, products and general marketing material.

Today we are the photographer of choice for many of the leading event & conference firms.
